The "Admiral Laser Beard: Dead or Alive" project by Dmitri Shadrina  is a collection of prints created by the artist. His work evokes a mixed public reaction, but certainly it does not leave anyone indifferent. His pictures and images are full of irony, sarcasm, some naive, grotesque simplicity.

The sources of inspiration for Dmitry Shadrin are cartoons, the comic groups Monty Python and the Mighty Boosh, as well as the artists Parra and Andrew Rae. George Carlin added some malice to his work, while Tove Jansson's Mumintrollen and animated series "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake" - the good .

"What I'm doing is absolutely absurd. People are attracted by madness. A picture itself can not repel. What repels you is your perception <...> Nobody likes criticism, so I try to get as much fun as I can out of it", - says the artist.

"Admiral Laser Beard: Dead or Alive" is the second project by Dmitry Shadrin together with 16thLINE. Earlier, in 2012, the artist took part at the "Macaroni Factory" street art festival .
